Project Life | Week 30

WEEK 30 | Left page included our morning at the pool, Taylor at a pool party and acting as Bethany Hamilton, and the kids with their suitcases for a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Right page included Taylor "riding" Flicka. I love her creative mind! I also included a photo of the backsplash I painted, a photo and promo on the summer movie fun that we participated in, as well as photos of family movie night with Grandma and Grandpa. This week also kicked off the summer Olympics, and we are loving that!

Project Life | Week 29

This week's spread captured highlights of our week. At first, I was worried that I hadn't taken enough photos for this week, but realized I had several. This week, Taylor completed a 100-piece puzzle all by herself. Ryland got a brand new freckle overnight right below his nose. And we saw the movie "The Smurfs" and played Operation for the first time.

I enjoyed getting paint samples for a new home project to tackle soon. On Saturday, a major dust storm took over our community. We watched it all from our 2nd story window. We turned our night into family movie night and watched a sweet movie called "Big Miracle".

Project Life | Week 28

Week 28 was a little bit of a calmer week for us. Some fun highlights include taking the kids to get their haircuts and celebrating my mom's birthday on July 11.

The summer rainstorms are coming! We enjoyed a few days with lower temps and playing in the rain. The top photo of Landon is of him in the backyard trying to catch raindrops in his mouth. I also included Landon's acceptance card for speech therapy. We are excited for him to take some classes that will help him to articulate some of the harder words and sounds correctly. On Saturday, we took the kids to Margot's 4th birthday. I asked Margot's mom if Margot still asks about Landon and daily, and I was assured she still does. In a month from now, Margot and my kids will be back at school.

Project Life | Week 26

Week 26 marks the halfway mark of 2012. This week was pretty great for our kids. On Sunday, the kids each got their own first Bibles. They like to practice "reading" through them. On Monday, we all went to Wet 'n' Wild for Uncle Josh's 30th birthday. This was our first time at the water park and it was so awesome. My kids played for countless hours and us big kids had fun too! On Wednesday, we took the kids to the circus. All I can say is that it was fantastic!

This page included more photos from the circus. On Saturday, Landon and Hank went to a local racetrack for sprint cars for Keagan's 5th birthday party. They had a great time. I took Taylor to my friend Shannon's baby shower and included a souvenir from the shower in this layout.
