Project Life | Week 16

Lots of fun stuff this week. I was asked to be a driver for another one of Taylor's fieldtrips. This time we took the kindergartners to the Hall of Flame Museum. It was a great experience. We also were able to spend one last afternoon with my Granny before she flew back to Canada. We already miss her!

The end of the week was sort of a blur. I had two girls night out planned and those were super fun. And then Taylor had to be at a dance competition + workshops for three days straight. On Saturday night, we ended up getting a hotel room and staying at the resort. We had fun swimming and relaxing poolside. The kids were able to bring their sweet friend Margot with them to the hotel too so that was extra special.

Project Life | Week 15

Week 15 included a week of cooler weather, a visit from the Glendale Fire Department to the kids' school, Landon's actual birthday....

a photo shoot of the kids, my Facebook birthday wish to Landon, his Very Hungry Caterpillar drawing, t-ball, notes from Ms. Judy about the kids, and a photo of Landon with his forehead bandage. The poor boy had a door slam in his face and broke open the skin.

Project Life | Week 14

{SPRING BREAK} The kids had the week off of school so we did some extra fun stuff this week. On Monday, we got a last minute call from Hank's cousin Shauna, who was in town for a few days with her family. She asked if we could meet up for a parkdate with all the kids. We jumped at the chance to see them! Grandma Carol also had the grandkids over for a sleepover and took the kids to the Phoenix Zoo. They had the best time! We even managed to squeeze in a trip to the AZ Science Center and watched a 3D movie called "To the Arctic". Lots of fun stuff this week! 

Over the weekend we celebrated Landon's 5th birthday at his favorite train park in Scottsdale. Some of his good friends from school and beloved family members came to celebrate with us. Hank finally used his Christmas gift that what a certificate for the NASCAR experience. The almost 3-lap race around the track took no more than two minutes, but he loved the thrill of it anyway.

Project Life | Week 13

We are definitely keeping busy from week to week. This particular week started off with a bike ride to a park with some of our dear friends. Landon also started t-ball this week and is loving it! Taylor was able to get her sash and a couple of pins that she earned at Polished Pebbles. On Good Friday, we colored Easter eggs since the kids were home on Spring Break.

On Good Friday, Hank went rock climbing with a friend in the early morning. That night, we went to the Good Friday service at our church. On Saturday, Landon had his first t-ball game. It was so cute and comical. We look forward to the games each weekend. On Easter Sunday, all of our family members came over for a BBQ and Easter egg hunt. It was such a fun day with our loved ones.
